Quadrathlon & Combined Events Website

What is the Quadrathlon?

Each young athlete competes in four individual events with a sprint, a middle distance, a jump and a throw receiving points for each performance. These points are added up and the top three athletes in each age group receive winners and runners up awards.

These principles support Long Term Athlete Development guidelines and whilst there will be event winners, the Young Athletes' Quadrathlon concept promotes an active and healthy lifestyle in a compact and exciting afternoon of Track & Field.

Who can take part?

The event is open to all athletes from Under 9's to Under 15's with the minimum age being 7 (on the day). At under 9's and under 11's all athletes must compete in the four events of the Quadrathlon and at under 13's and under 15's we allow those who wish to compete in individual events to do so if they want to but at a higher cost. Under 17's Can also enter this event in individual events.

Our Indoor Quadrathlon Competition also incorporates Under 17's Open Events and the first event was piloted in November 2012, Indoors @ SportCity, Manchester and our second event was delivered on Sunday 10th November 2013. A Great event during the Winter Season to get involved in.Who can take part?
